Pat Juarez, MS, APN, CCNS, CCRN-K has over 30 years of critical care nursing experience as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, staff nurse, and educator. As the Clinical Development Specialist for Critical Care, Pat developed and provided oversight for the critical care nursing curriculum for Advocate Health Care for over 10 years. This is an excellent review book

This is an excellent review book!!! I took the exam yesterday and I passed. I am glad that I bought this book, it is very helpful! The content of the book is very clear and concise. There are a lot of questions in the exam were covered in this book. I would strongly recommend anyone who is going to take the exam! Also I like the inspirational quotations written before each chapter to motivate people to achieve their goals.

A solid buy for study prep

I bought this book and already had a couple of other CCRN study books. This book and the reviews about it made me really focus on this one instead of the others. I used this book, Laura's DVDs, and some PASSCCRN online exam questions. I passed on the first time with a 105, although the exam itself was very difficult. A good half of the exam was content covered directly in this book, while other questions were related to some of the content and made you really think about how the question related to the book. Altogether I was satisfied with this book and it did help me pass the exam.
