Before taking on this course i feel that Van Tharps book trade your way to financial freedom is a good starter as it covers the initial points and values of trading and introduces you to physiology , any way the peak performance course,for someone who has never considered their mental state or personality when and before trading this is a real wake up call as it brings home the fact that we make decisions when trading based upon reaction rather than logic in most cases, it is very hard to stick to your trading plan when things are not going your way , this course helps to explain why so many people blow their accounts or just give up ! this course is not a quick fix but it helps you understand your self, is trading for you?
Trading is easy it is the mental game which is hard !!!

Very helpful, indeed!

The Peak Performance Course is a very well structured course, which was a tremendous help for me. It is very detailed and deals with any psychological problem I can think of. Van Tharp was introduced in Jack Schwagers "Market Wizards" and really knows his stuff. He has worked with many traders and has really lot of experience from which you can participate. I think, the course is worth its money and if one is committed to trading and really wants to overcome his mental blocks, this course is probably the best you can purchase!
My only point of criticism is, that Van Tharp writes very analytical, but not very emotional. From my point of view, it could be written more encouraging.

I don't know why sellers are selling this at $1,750 it is available for $750 directly from Van Tharp's website.
Haven't read this specific course, but have read other Van Tharp books and found his ideas, strategies and methods to be immensely useful in improving my investment performance.
For many years I managed to ignore all books on trading, after all I was an investor. Trade Your Way to Financial Freedom was the first book that I ever read about trading. And I found the ideas 100% applicable to my work as an investor. Both as a venture investor and my investments in publicly traded equities.
