Tremendously Helpful and Well-Written Resource

So, full disclosure, I had Professor Freer at Emory Law over a decade ago, and thought he was tremendous. I have a copy of his Civil Procedure treatise even though I don't litigate much, because he takes complicated areas of law and simply makes them so accessible to attorneys who are not experts in the field. I purchased this book to get me up to speed on some basics so I can be ready to do some corporate governance work, and so far, I'm thrilled.

Pretty good

Helpful for student in Biz Orgs who didn't take business classes in Undergrad. Well written and concise. My only problem with this book is that both authors spent way too much time talking about the details of cases. Good book for understanding the structuring of Partnerships, LLC's, and Corporations.

Excellent Supplement

Rich Freer is great, and this book is a great supplement for your BizOrgs class. As always, you need to worry about what your professor teaches, but if you're struggling to understand the jargon and the concepts the jargoney jargon jargons on about, this book is good for cutting through it.
