Autumn Linde is an artist, writer and elementary school teacher. When she is not creating something new or teaching others how to wonder, she is off on adventures somewhere outside in the Pacific Northwest with her main squeeze, Mark. She lives in Portland, Oregon, and believes rainy days are the best of days to create something unexpected. Oh, and she kinda has a thing for birds.

Must Experience!

A wonderful book for all ages! Encouraging words and unique fun to look at drawings. Perfect for passing on to friends that need encouragement or for graduates. Loved it! Reminiscent of the Shel Silverstein books that I adore. This a book that will stay on your bookshelf a long while, or until someone borrows it. I can't wait to see what Ms. Linde does next!

Charming and thought-provoking

This is a charming little book which will inspire, uplift, and provide a fair few giggles to anyone lucky enough to have a copy!
Burdz: A Unique Flock consists of a collection of illustrations and poems arranged into sections based on their purpose (there's a section for humor, a section for reflection, etc). The poems are thought-provoking and clever. The illustrations are very artistic and colorful, and the layout of the book is very pleasing to the eye, though the text is rather small on a Kindle screen. I think readers would get a much better reading experience from the print version of the book.
Children of all ages will love this book. If they are too young to understand the words, they will at least be captivated by the beautiful illustrations. Definitely one for your bookshelf!
