About the Author
Jurgen Barth spent his entire career at Porsche. At the end of 2006 Barth retired from Porsche as director of the customer motorsports department. He continues to work on Porsche's behalf as racing director of the German Porsche Sports Cup, and assists the FIA in homologation matters involving historic Porsche race cars. Gustav Busing, born in 1944, was sports editor of the German trade journal, Auto Zeitung, before he and Lothar Boschen struck out on their own as freelance journalists and authors.

Though purporting to cover all models and years, these books read like typical marketing and magazine material. Not enough insight into development of the models, how owners/ racedrivers perceive the model variations. There are better Porsche books available.
